Chemoradiotherapy is the standard treatment for unresectable locally advanced head and neck cancer (HNC). However, malnutrition is present in 44-88% HNC patients during chemoradiotherapy, which leads to loss of skeletal muscle mass (SMM) and poor clinical outcomes.
