Efficacy and Safety of Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Combination With Chemoradiotherapy (CRT) Versus CRT Alone in Muscle-invasive Bladder Cancer (MIBC) (MK-3475-992/KEYNOTE-992)

This study is designed to assess the antitumor efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab in combination with chemoradiotherapy (CRT) versus CRT alone in participants with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). The primary hypothesis is that pembrolizumab + chemoradiotherapy is superior to placebo + chemoradiotherapy with respect to bladder intact event-free survival.

Intravesical Gemcitabine and Docetaxel for BCG na ve Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer

A single-arm, two-stage, open-label, phase 2 study investigating the safety and efficacy of intravesical gemcitabine/docetaxel for bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG)-nave patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). All participants will receive an induction course of gemcitabine/docetaxel instillations followed by maintenance instillations if initial efficacy is seen. In addition to providing initial …

Trial of Local Cystoscopic Injection of Tremelimumab Plus Systemic Durvalumab for High Risk Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (Rideau)

We will conduct a Phase I trial testing whether local cystoscopic injection of tremelimumab into the bladder wall in combination with systemic administration of durvalumab in localized bladder cancer will stimulate an effective anti-tumour immune response with minimal systemic immune response and clinical toxicity.

Hyperpolarized 13C Pyruvate MRI Scan in Predicting Tumor Aggressiveness in Patients With Localized Renal Tumor

This feasibility study will evaluate how well hyperpolarized 13C pyruvate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan works in predicting tumor aggressiveness in patients with localized renal tumor. Hyperpolarized 13C pyruvate is a non-radioactive substance with potential usage in the diagnostic imaging of tumors. Hyperpolarized 13C pyruvate MRI may help doctors determine …

Lenvatinib and Pembrolizumab Before Surgery for the Treatment of Locally Advanced Non-Metastatic Kidney Cancer

This phase II trial studies how well lenvatinib and pembrolizumab before surgery work in treating patients with kidney cancer that has spread from its original site of growth to nearby tissues or lymph nodes but has not spread to other places in the body (non-metastatic). Lenvatinib may stop the growth …

A Prospective Multi-centre Single-blinded Study of UroCAD for Urothelial Carcinoma Diagnosis and Follow-up

Urothelial carcinoma (UC) is common malignancy and is considered to be one of the most expensive cancers. The traditional diagnostic methods of UC present with some shortcomings. For example, the specificity of CTU remains low while cystoscopy is invasive and expensive. Therefore, a noninvasive diagnostic method with high accuracy is …

Influence of Hormone Treatment in Radiation Therapy for Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer is often treated with cystectomy or radiation therapy. Following radiation therapy patients will often have severe side effects from the treatment. Studies have suggested that simultanously treatment with androgen deprivation therapy during radiation therapy may be able to proctect stemcells in the bladder, thus improving tissue recovering post-radiation, …
