Optimizing Y90 Therapy for Radiation Lobectomy

There will be 2 Patient Groups. The first group of patients will be treated with Y90 dose and embolic load as per standard-of-care. The second group of patients will be treated with the optimal Y90 dose and embolic load found in Patient Group 1.

Hundred already taken CT-scans (50 male and 50 female) will be anonymized. These scans will be segmented and implemented into a statistical shape model that will be used to predict missing hard tissue of a mandible based on the remaining bone.

Uniform Communication by Midwives in Preparation for an IVF Treatment

When 50 women have completed the questionnaire a standardized communication protocol will be enrolled. Once all midwives are trained, 50 other IVF patients will be asked to complete the slightly adapted post questionnaire.The data from both questionnaires will be compared.

Glucose Monitoring During Chemotherapy

Each patch lasts for about 2-weeks. During chemotherapy visits, new patches will be placed and will be worn until the chemotherapy course is complete. Participants will be in this study for 6 months. Approximately 50 patients will be enrolled in this study.

Factors Affecting Outcome of Vestibular Rehabilitation

Consecutive patients (n=260) who enter the vestibular rehabilitation programme at Guy's Hospital, London will be included. Questionnaires will be conducted immediately before, and after their final treatment. The main outcome will be the Dizziness Handicap Inventory after rehabilitation.

Heart Failure Event Advance Detection Trial

Patients who are admitted with acutely decompensated heart failure and are receiving intravenous diuretics will be recruited to undergo testing using the Indicor Device. Participants will be tested daily while hospitalized and then on the day of discharge during which time they will be trained how to operate the device.
